Nola Combs Hunt

HUNT Nola Combs Hunt, died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Riverside Hospital. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of Samuel and Martha Combs. She is survived by 3 children, Mary Katherine Kaliker of Dublin, George Clark Hunt of Pittsboro, NC, and Jonathan Brooks Hunt of Greensboro, NC; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Ms. Hunt was the widow of James Gordon Hunt, who died in 1950. She never remarried. She was a graduate of The University of Kentucky at Lexington. She moved to Ohio in 1960 and was a teacher for Columbus Public Schools for 25 years, specializing in elementary education. A memorial service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at THE SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES BEECHWOLD-CLINTONVILLE CHAPEL, 4341 N. High St. Inurnment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
