Paul Glowa Obituary

GLOWA Paul S. Glowa, age 76, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2007. Born May 16, 1930, in Vintondale, PA to the late Stefan and Helena (Volosin) Glowa. Served in the USAF 603rd A.C.&W. Squadron. A graduate of the Columbus School of Art & Design. Retired in 1994 from a career of Advertisement & Design. Member Reynoldsburg F.&A.M. #340 and Reynoldsburg VFW Post #9473. Attended the Hungarian Reformed Church of Columbus and a member of Russian Orthodox Church in Vintondale, PA. Preceded in death by brothers John and Steve Glowa. Survived by wife, Sarah; son, Mark (Tammee) Glowa; daughter, Donna (Brian) Jauchius; and son, Paul Scott; grandchildren, Jennifer, Mackenzie, Leland, and Stephanie; sisters, Julie (Ray) Campbell, Ann (Bill) Sebulsky, Helen (Charles) Balog, Margit (Charles) Detrick, and Rosemary (Sam) Minder, Jr.; brothers, George (Pauline) Glowa and Michael Glowa; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday with a brief Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Zsolt Otvos, of the Hungarian Reformed Church, officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association, in Paul's memory.
