Paul J. Yonnotti

YONNOTTI Paul J. Yonnotti, age 86, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on February 17, 1926 to the late Michael and Florence (Blanche) Yonnotti. Paul was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in WWII where he received a Purple Heart and retired from The United States Postal Service after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of the American Italian Club and was one of the last Youngstown Corner Boys. Paul enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and was an avid golfer. He was also very dedicated to his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Yonnotti, and siblings John Yonnotti, Mary Monaco, and Tony Yonnotti. Paul is survived by his children, Michael (Valerie) Yonnotti and Paula (Roger) Ansel; grandchildren, Judson, Paul, and Michael; sisters, Angela Ciminero and Frances Cappelli; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. with prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road, Columbus, Ohio. Father James Smith, celebrant. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Green Haven Memorial Park, Canfield, Ohio.
