Pam and family,
I was stunned to hear of Petes death on Tuesday .Back in the day Pete and Pam were good friends that we lost touch with.Just a few weeks ago I asked John if he had heard from the Gwilyms. We laughed about old times! David died 1/29/01 some days it feels like yesterday other days it feels like a lifetime ago. David will show Pete around in heaven. I know they are fixing something right now! My thought are with you Pam.

Pam,
We were shocked and saddened to hear of Pete's passing. Having moved to New Albany from out of state and not knowing anyone Pete offered insight, advice and most importantly friendship. Pete was a generous human being whose "light" will shine within all of us who were touched by his kindness.

Pam,
I was saddened to learn of your loss. Pete and I were friends at Walnut Ridge High School. We shared several classes and many laughs. I will always remember Pete for being a prankster. He could get the entire class going with his "cricket" sounds, tricking the teacher into thinking insects were invading the classroom! Pete and my husband, Andy, were also high school friends. They got into all sorts of mischief, both during school hours and after school. Pete stopped over to visit Andy a year or so ago and it was just like old times. I was looking forward to seeing Pete at our 30 year class reunion in August. He will be missed.

Pam, The Crabtrees, & Andi & Pete's family,

I was just thinking of the entire family just few weeks ago after I came across several pictures that I had taken while I was with you guys in Hilton Head in the early 90's.. I still remembered how much Pete smiled & laughed, the image of his smiling face is still etched in my memory. There is a great picture of all of you that I took, so I would like to print it out & have Andi give copies to all of you.

Thank you for allowing me to go on the trip & that I had a wonderful time knowing Pete and all of you.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Pam,
I worked in payroll @ Longaberger and worked with Pete. We talked about our Jack Russell puppies along with many other things. He is one of the nicest, funniest people I have had the pleasure to call friend and my heart goes out to you and your family. Please know that he will be greatly missed by those of us who knew him - that his smile and humor will be remembered always.

I graduated with Pete from Walnut Ridge in 1977 and first met him in 7th grade at Yorktown Junior High in Industrial Arts class. My fiance (currently my wife) and I attended Pete and Pam's wedding in 1982 (April if I recall correctly) and unfortunately have lost touch since then. I remember his sense of humor and his always upbeat demeanor.

Pete had a great spirit, we always felt eager being in his company. He made us feel closer to home, accepted and cared for. He was the kind of person we could openly ask for advise on anything and he'd give it with no reserves.

All our love and sympathy is with Pam and Zoey in this so difficult time for them.

For those who know and love Pete this is a devastating time. The world lost one of the greatest men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend to me and my family. I have so many fond and of course funny Pete stories, but I'd like to share one from this winter. During the big blizzard in February, it was late at night and I heard a humming noise coming from outside. My son and I looked out the window and there was Pete, in the middle of the blizzard, snow blowing not just his driveway, but everyone's driveway on the block (and you know he was loving it). We just smiled, waved and shook our heads at him. That's exactly the kind of guy Pete was...always doing for others and never expecting anything in return. He is and will always be so sorely missed. Pam, you are in our thoughts and prayers every day. You know we are just across the street if you need us.
