Though, I did not know Phil at all, I know some of his family through my fiance J.R. Brooks and I want to say how terribly sorry I am for this loss. I will keep this family in my prayers for the rest of my life.

Keith,Pat,Dave,Jeff & the rest of the Skaggs family....I don't even know how to begin to express the loss I am feeling right now....just knowing that such a wonderful gentleman was right next door to me gave me a great sense of comfort....I sure am going to miss all of our long conversations sitting on one anothers front porches....so thankful for the 21 years of memories I have to look back upon of Phil & Phyllis both. I always referred to them as my "adopted" parents & I think Phil looked at me sometimes as his "adopted" daughter....a huge hole will remain in my heart....Love you Phil...R.I.P.....breaks my heart to look out and see your flag at half mast....you were an American Hero....
