Ralph C. "Bud" Wise Jr.

Wise Ralph "Bud" C. Wise, Jr. 83 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away peacefully at the Pickering House on Thursday, July 2, 2015. He was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the US Marine Corp. and retired as a power distribution load dispatcher for the City of Columbus. After retiring he worked for the Columbus Public Health Department. He was a member of the Baltimore VFW Post 3761, Marine Corp. League, an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. Ralph is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mona; daughter, Karen (Mel Voll) Murphy of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Billie Sue Vowe of Columbus, Ohio and Merry Elizabeth Murphy of Baltimore, Ohio; cousin, William Don and Shelley Grubb of Somerset, Ohio. A special thank you goes to the staff of the Pickering House for his care. He was preceded in death by his daughter Daphne Sue Chrysler; parents Ralph C. and Alice Wise, Sr. and sister Betty Dunlop. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43130 with Chaplain Kermit Welty officiating.
