I thank God for giving me a spiritual family to lean on when my natural family isn't able to encourage me in the lord. I know our heavenly father will mend and console your hearts replacing any sadness that you may feel with sweet memories that never fade. I didn't have a chance to meet Bishop but his spirit was felt in Harvesttime. God bless you family.

May God continue to strengthen, guide and support the Trout family during this time. Mother, you and Bishop have been my one and only pastor and church since I moved here to GA in 1997. Bishop's example showed me what a real pastor should be so I can't settle for less. His genuine love and support will never be forgotten. His spirit lives on in all of his sons and daughters in the church. I know that Bishop Joel and his family will carry the legacy onward and upward for the continued growth of Harvesttime! Though God has placed me in another ministry, HT will always be family. I love you all.

Bishop Trout and Sister Talesa: I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing. You held me up and kept me encouranged when my sister, Kimberly, passed away. Not long after, my father passed away. Though many thought our family was hit hard with the passing of two family members in such a short time, I continued to make it by listening to what you reminded me that the Scripture tells us. Now, it's time for you to be silent and listen to what you told me. We will all meet up again someday soon. God bless your family.

To Mother Trout and family,
we were saddened to hear of Bishop Trouts passing. The impact of his life upon ours has no way to be expressed. The word he put down in us is yet keeping us today. We preach and teach the same gospel he taught to us that brought us out of darkness into this marvelous light! We were so glad we got to see him this past August, and prayed with him and though he was frail the spirit yet moved. Our father in the Lord is not dead, just asleep, until we meet again, he can't crown him til we all get there! Pastor Henry& Evang Cheryl Page Col. Oh.

So keep the faith knowing that God takes care of all of His children. It is so sweet to trust in Jesus. My heart felt expressions of sincere condolences to you. I met Bishop Trout in 1979; what a blessing that was in my life. He was a true warrior of Christ and an anointed preacher of the gospel. Sister Judy and family:
A dedicated soldier of the Lord has gone on for his reward. I have mixed emotions, because we have lost a true man of God. Early in my ministry and my saved life, Bishop Trout taught me things that I needed to know. He would have me go with him to visit sick and shut in. He was a man that cared about people and the work of the Lord. He will truly be missed. He was a planter and because of him there are many churches throughout the country. He left his mark upon many. Our prayers are with you and the family.

To Mother Trout & Family: We would like to extend our condolences to you all. You set an impression upon my family that we will never forget or take for granted when my daughter, Alyxus & I was living in Georgia last year!! Bishop Trout has left an awesome legacy in Columbus, Ohio and other areas that have had the honor & privilege of being touched by his ministry. We celebrate Bishop Trout's life & the many accomplishments he gained in the body of Christ. Paul says it best in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 - 13.But I would not have you to be ignorant , brethren, concerning them which are asleep , that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again , even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15.For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep .
16.For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17.Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18.Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
You have comfort in knowing that one day, we will experience that blessed hope that the saints of God are anticipating & we will again see & be with Bishop Trout. May the Lord continue to comfort all of you.

Let the heavens declar thy glory to me and the hills thy majesty. let every fleeting loveliness I see speak to me of loveliness that does not fade. let the beauty of earth be to me a sacrament of the beauty of holiness made manifest in Jesus Christ my Lord.
Heavenly father of my soul, let my first thought today be of thee, when quietness come, let my first speech be thy name, when I here no name, let my first action be to kneel before thee in prayer, O Lord, hallowed be Thy name. Amen

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints"
Psalm 116:15
We truly celebrate the life of Uncle Ray as we praise God for lending him to us for a short period of time to fulfill his purpose in God. He has truly left a wonderful legend behind and his life reflected the life of Jesus Christ! He can declare like Paul, in II Tim 4:7 'I have fought a good fight, I have I have finished my course,I have kept the faith; Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day'. So we honor God in this day of celebration. We know that there is a celebration in heaven as my daddy, Leroy and Uncle Ray, Uncle Nelson, grandma and grandpa reunite (wow), what a good time!
According to Ps 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. He is your sustainer, and the Holy Spirit shall bear your infirmities. We love you and are in prayer with the family.
