Richard Spuller Obituary

SPULLER, DDS Richard L. "Rich" Spuller, DDS, 62, of rural Arlington passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011. He is survived by wife of 37 years, Ann I. (Greig) Spuller, they were married on August 12, 1974. Also surviving are two children, Aimee M. Spuller of Chicago, IL and Justin A. Spuller of rural Arlington; a sister, Jacqueline Farber of Conifer, CO; and a brother, Marc Spuller of El Paso, TX. Rich was a 1967 graduate of Continental High School, he received his BS from Miami University in 1971 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University of Dentistry in 1975. He was employed by the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department as a children's dentist for two years. He then returned to OSU/Children's Hospital for a two year fellowship in pediatric dentistry. He taught at OSU/Children's Hospital until 1985 when he became a partner in Findlay Pediatric Dentists. From 2006-2011 he worked for Washington County as a public health dentist in Marietta, OH. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon Monday, January 2, 2011 at Good Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, Arlington with Pastor Steven Ramsey officiating. Visitation will held an hour and a half prior to the service (10:30 a.m.-12 Noon) Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Good Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, Continental High School, or to the Haiti Mission Project (www.haitimissionproject.org) in his memory. Arrangements entrusted to CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington. Online condolences may be expressed via: www.coldrencrates.com.
