Robert Earl Cain

Cain Robert Earl Cain, aged 80 years, went to receive his Heavenly Reward June 15, 2017. Born to Robert F. and Barbara (Reichert) Cain August 27, 1936. Graduate of Aquinas High School, Class of 1954. On September 8, 1956 Bob married the love of his life, Marilyn Strapp. Bob was a founding member of St. Stephen the Martyr Church in 1963. Bob spent 17 years with the F&R Lazarus Company as an Executive in major appliance repair. He eventually retired as Director of Safety with Martin Painting Co. Throughout the years Bob sang with numerous choirs within the Diocese. He was also was an Extraordinary Minister at the church. Bob was extremely active within the Central Ohio Irish Community. He was a member of the Shamrock Club where he was the choral director for 17 years, Irishman of the year in 1986, and a Founding Member of The Hooligans where he loved to sing and play the Bodhran Drum. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marilyn; children, Kevin (Phyllis), Chris (Daphne), Theresa (Tom) Sansone, and his adopted son, Ed Norris; grandchildren, Kevin Jr (Tiffany), Erin (Roger) Farley, Michael (Nicole), Chrissy (Nick) Dembinski, Lindsey (Chad) Stemen, Joe (Megan), Ryan "Butch" (Julia), Dan (Kylie), Nicholas Sansone, Brian Sansone, Erin McSweeney (Michael Davis); 17 great grandchildren and 18 this November; aunt, Virginia Reichert Whightsil; siblings, William (Gerry), Martha Cain; sisters-in-law, Rita Strapp-Pagura, Amy Scott Strapp; many nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children and friends. The Cain Family would like to share their deepest appreciation for the wonderful care Bob received with Mt. Carmel Hospice and The Blanton House in Grove City. Thank you! Also a very special thank you to the prayer group from St. Stephen the Martyr. The Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 18, 2017, 4-8 p.m. at the MAEDER QUINT TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S.
