Rob was one of a kind gentleman who was selfless in teaching this young lady a thing or two about bracket racing and the love of Mopar! His skill at story telling was magnificent beyond any famous orator, coupled with his quirky smile and his twinkling in his eyes as he would wrap it up. And don't forget of the sounds that he made to enhance the story. He was no match for Garrison Keller, even though he shared his love of the show on rained out Saturday racing evenings. There are such great memories that I will always hold dear of your father. My heart goes out to Bob&Cheryl, Vicki & family, and Jerry and wife.

I taught two of Mr. Hoffman's children,Jerry and Vicky, at Gtaham Road Elementary. At one point in time, Mr. Hoffman came into the classroom and talked about the countries where he was stationed. I still have a Thai doll he presented to me. I just wanted to extend my sympathies to his family. I know he also gave up a lot to serve our country. You are all in my thoughts. Take care.

Our condolences to the whole family. Mr. Hoffman was a fine man and served our country well. His son Jerry married our daughter, and we are so proud of Jerry, Shelly, and Brittany.

Thank you Robert Hoffman for your gallant service to our country. Your air support saved the lives of your fellow
countrymen who will never meet you or shake your hand but I can assure the Hoffman family those men went on to raise families and make a difference. All of our Veterans fought bravely for a way of life that will never be replicated. "Freedom is never free!"

When someone we love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Therefore, treasure the special times spent with Robert-draw strength from the love of family and friends-and may God's word and his loyal love comfort you and help you through this very difficult time. Psalms 119:50,76

I am and always will be proud to have Robert Hoffman as my grandfather. He sacrificed a great deal of his time to fight in the Viatnam war and was able to return to be the sturdy man we all knew. Though it might not have always shown, I know he cared deeply for his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I will never forget the Christmas times we spent at his and grandma's house with the whole family; those days will be wonderful memories for years to come. I wish I could have known him better, but know that his feelings were always there and always will be with me and the rest of the family he treasured dearly.
