Robert K. Journey

JOURNEY Robert K. Journey, 76, of Columbus, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Bob was born December 24, 1930, in Insley, Alabama to the late Clem P. and Nettie (Bass) Journey. He also preceded in death by his first wife Joan M. Journey and his second wife Faye Journey, and his aunt and uncle who raised him, Pearl and Carl Davis. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Janitrol after 35-plus years of service. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, an avid golfer and a member of the National Road Golf Club. His survivors include his children, Tim (Billie) Journey and Kirk (Kim) Journey; step-children, Sherrie Neal and Timothy (Connie) Neal; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Betty) Journey and Earl Allman; father-in-law, Cliff Clannin; special niece, Debbie Holmes; dear friends, Gene and Gloria Murdock and Boyd Graves; other relatives and many golfing buddies. A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2007, at RUTHERFORD-SHROYER FUNERAL HOME, 1278 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43222 with Rev. Edward Hughes officiating.
