Robert Leiendecker Obituary
Robert E. Leiendecker, 88, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Mollie; children, Brian (Pam), Lori (Jeff), Lisa (Tony); seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Robert served in the Navy on the USS Fitch during the Korean Conflict. No funeral services will be held. Robert's family will privately celebrate his life. For those who wish to contribute in his memory: Shriner's Hospitals for Children Processing Center, PO BOX 1510, Ranson, W.Va. 25438.

i worked with bob at Food World (kenny and henderson) in the late 70s . i found him to be a honest dignified straight forward man, but with a great sense of humor. he didn't suffer fools, yet he seemed to put up with me. Rest in peace Bob

Sorry to hear of Bob's passing, Brain, Lisa and Lori the loss is heavy.
In the younger years growing up , Bob would line all the neighborhood kids up on sidewalk. With his slim bluejeans, white t-shirt and wristwatch. He would have a contest to see who could run around the block with the fastest lap. He couldn't hide that smile under his slim mustache. He would always encourage us that we could run a faster. As I remember Brian was always first.
After Mom's stroke I was making a lot more trips down Evaline Dr.
Bob was always good for a honk and a wave as he worked in the yard, and sometimes I would stop for a short chat.
Mollie you're in my thoughts, you and Bob were great neighbors through out the years. Even when mom's health issues arose you both stopped by to say hello and asked how mom was doing. And I thank you.
