Larry was a wonderful man. I always appreciated his sense of humor and his absolute love of gaming. It was contageous. I wouldn't play the games I play or have the collection of games I have if it weren't for him. He is sorely missed.

I'll see you someday soon, Larry, and we'll be able to complete that 30,000 point Lord of the Rings battle Jason got going a couple of years ago.

I met Larry 15 years ago, and was immediately struck by his almost daunting understanding of the title industry. I came to know him as a tireless sponsor of fair legislation and ethical behavior in the real estate setting. We also became friends as fellow attorneys, and I always enjoyed his sense of humor. We have all lost a true friend and advocate, and he will be sorely missed.

Larry truly embodied the phrase gentleman and a scholar. I had the good fortune of working for Larry at the beginning of my career. He taught me more than title, mortgages, and real estate procedures, he taught me the importance of conflict resolution not only at the closing table but in life. His gentle demeanor combined with an impeccable knowledge of real estate earned him a legendary following in the real estate community. I feel profoundly lucky to have been a student of and a witness to the greatness that was Larry Connor.

With sincerest sympathies to Margie and the kids and grandkids and the entire Connor clan.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Larry, I know he must have been a wonderful man. I've known his son, Roger, for a number of years now and have always been impressed with his kindness and dignity. Those values do not occur by themselves, but are reflections of a good upbringing.

I will keep Larry and your family in my prayers; may God grant you peace and consolation.

I met Larry back in 1984 when he hired me up at the Eastwind Drive Title First office. He was a wonderful boss and a true gentleman. It was funny because he and Margie then ended up buying my parents home (Bob & Flo Jones) on Conestoga within a few years after that. Larry would tell me Margie is just obsessed with having that house...she loved it and he made it happen for her. True testament to the love he had for his family and how he wanted to make them happy. Working with Larry, also led me to know Mary (his sister) and I'm so sorry Mary that you have lost such an incredible brother. When I think back of the years I spent in Title, Larry and Mary are in the group of the special people who come to mind. God Bless you Margie, Mary, and all the Connor Family. I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss.

Dear Conner Family,

My heart is filled with sorrow for your loss yet I rejoice that Larry is now enjoying sweet communion with Jesus face-to-face. I was blessed to have known Larry - though for a short time - and was always impressed by his character, personality and demeanor. He was a man of dignity, honesty and faith. I had much respect for him. My heart goes out to you all and my prayers go up to our God for you all during this time and in the days ahead. May you know the comfort and peace that only God can give.

Love, Chuck Long
