I probably met Roy when I was very young, before age 7 but I don't remember him. My father William (Bill) Mason, was Albert's son. So that would make Roy my Great Uncle.
Please accept our condolences,
Ron and Amy Mason.

Roy was a wonderful person. I grew up just down the street and will always remember how considerate and compassionate he was to our family. He would volunteer to help us clear trails, loved to hear our hunting stories, and would always share his wisdom with us. After moving out on my own, I looked forward to the spring when I could visit the greenhouse and talk to him, and in the fall when we would talk about the summer's harvest and any old thing! He introduced me to the "canary" melon this year! He was a special person whose memory I will cherish.

Roy was a customer of mind at my local barber shop in Johnstown. He had a warm and wonderful personality and was a very giving man. I will miss him.

Roy Mason Famly
Janet and I will be on vacation. Just wanted to say Roy was great mentor to me. When I started the administrator job for the township he was always willing to help. Of course always a tale with a big laugh. I always told him he was charging to much for his produce of course that was good for a few
kind words. Again sorry for your lose.

Dear Family of my friend Roy Mason,
I am one of the people he shared his bountiful supply of produce with.
Yes, he was glad to give away what was getting spotted and still has good parts to be used. It went to my freezer or into jars.
He also shared many squash and pumpkins at the end of the selling season last year. I came with the pickup and loaded it full. The back and the seats were stuffed full. The next day we delivered them to the food pantry in Columbus. I was thinking I should thank him again for his bountiful gift of good food.
So I share good memories of Roy.
Sincerely, Betty Ehrman, New Albany

My prayers are with all of Roy's family and friends. We were all so lucky to have him in our lives. I was blessed to have Roy as a friend for over 20 years as it was always a comfort to know Roy was just a couple houses down the road if I ever needed him - and I did many times. We all lost "a good one" - he was my best friend.....Patti McNerney
