Ruth La Framboise Obituary

La FRAMBOISE Ruth (Nana) Sarah Thomas La Framboise, age 85, passed away peacefully September 21, 2005 at Kobacker House. Ruthie, as she was known to her friends, was born in Albany, New York. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving (Pete) La Framboise, who brought her to Columbus after WWII. She is survived by her children, Michelle Widner, Peter (Nancy) La Framboise and Patricia Johnson; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was all about living and enjoyed many things including: gardening, golf, cooking, sewing and most of all her friends. In her final days she was looking forward to reuniting with all her friends who had moved on. Ruthie's wish would be for all who knew her to make time for a friend and honor her life with a toast of your favorite libation. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Kobacker House. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruthie's memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Clinic of Children's Hospital Medical Center, 3333 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road.

Dear Mikie, Pete and Patty,

I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's death. I have such nice memories of her, beginning with when we were in high school. She was always so full of energy and interested in the people around her.

She had a great heart.

You have my deepest sympathy.

Love, Reeni
