My Dear Sweet Shawn,
You are my baby and my heart is breaking. I just saw you and hugged you and told you how proud I was of you. I cried as you got on the plane to go home never knowing that would be the last time I would ever see or hold you. I don't understand we all loved you so much and we would have done anything in the world to help you. You would not believe how many people were at your funeral and how they all shared how much they loved and will miss you. I knew you touched alot of peoples hearts but I was amazed and proud to hear everyone share their stories and love of you. It touched my heart and even though they don't know me I wish I could hear more. It was so hard being so far away from you. Brittanys heart is broken she loved and looked up to you and now she feels so alone. Please touch her heart and talk to her often she needs to feel you to comfort her. I don't know if the pain will ever fade for us but it gives me comfort to know that you are in heaven with God and Grandpa. Your pain is over and we will see you again one day. I love you so much I only wish I could hold you one more time.
Love You Always and Forever....
Mom

Karen,
I'm so very sad to hear of the lost of your stepson Shawn. It breaks my heart when we lose such a young life.
I will continue keeping you and Dan in my prayers along with the rest of your family that you may find peace and put your faith in God as he is the only one that can answer your question.
I knocked at heaven's door this morning. God asked me...'My child, what can I do for you?' And I said, 'Father, please protect and bless the person reading this message.' God smiled and answered...'Request granted'.

Dear Lynn, Danny, Brittany, and extended families, I was shocked to hear of Shawn's passing last week. He was a good kid and it was a pleasure watching him grow up while he lived with Aunt Pam and Uncle Mark. We all considered him a part of our family. Please take comfort in knowing that he is free from pain and quilt and in the hands of our Lord and Savior. I am sure he will be missed by all.

Deepest sympathy to Shawn's family and loved ones...He will be missed! :( Shawn was our next door neighbor for the last nine months, and we will never forget him. He was such a kind, and friendly person. He looked out for us. If his family happens to read this, please know that if you need anything please stop over. May your hearts and souls find peace and comfort through this difficult time.
