Thomas Lamarr Thornton

Thornton Thomas Lamarr Thornton, born June 3, 1940, passed away January 16, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a successful businessman, loving husband, father and grandfather. An avid sportsman, he was a race car owner and driver, a licensed private pilot, rode motorcycles, sailed boats, collected old cars and enjoyed many years as a thoroughbred owner and breeder with his wife by his side. He was a good friend to many, a proud Veteran of the US Air Force and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his mother Thellene, sister Juanita, nephew Phillip and father-in-law Floyd. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Nancy; sons, Todd (Bill) and Ryan (Angela); grandchildren, Lauren and Thomas; mother-in-law, Mary; nieces, nephew and cousins.
