Dear Stacy,
I recall meeting you on one occasion while in the Special Care lounge about 2 years ago. I so much enjoyed getting to know your mother in the final 2 1/2 years of her life. Our Bible study group has been visiting Ginny's unit to sing hymns with the residents. Ginny always very much enjoyed this time. Her face would light up when singing her favorite hymn, "In the Garden." She loved talking about your dad, Harold, and spoke so highly of you, saying what a good man you are. She shared with us about her days working at Timken and about Harold's pharmacy days at Lazarus downtown. Ginny became a dear "favorite" to us and she recognized us until the end. My husband,Clay, and I prayed with her and sang "In the Garden" to her the Tuesday evening before she passed away. She loved Jesus and our hearts were warmed when she spoke of him. We share in your sadness in saying good-bye to Ginny and have felt her absence on Tuesday evenings! God bless you, Stacy!
