Walter M. Whitfield, 76, was called home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2017. U.S. Army Veteran. Home-going Celebration 10 AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Mt Period Baptist Church, 482 Kimball Pl., where family will receive friends 9AM until time of service. Interment East Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to SMOOT FUNERAL SERVICES, 4019 E. Livingston Ave., Cols., OH 43227. 614-444-1GOD (1463), M.L. Smoot, Director.

Not a day goes by that I do not think of you. For the last 3 years Thanksgiving has always been hard to get through as it reminds me of the day you left us. It will be even harder as mommy is no longer with us as well. I miss you so much. Love your daughter Slim
