Wanda Russo Obituary

RUSSO Wanda N. Russo, age 75, of Pickerington, Oh., passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009 due to illness. She was born April 3, 1933 in Point Pleasant, W.Va. to the late Marvin and Louisa VanSickle. A 1950 graduate of Central High School, Wanda enjoyed gardening, wine making and her horses. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Irene and Dottie. Survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph M. Russo; daughters, Karen A. Fread (Jan R.), Kelly Jo A. Russo (Douglas C. Rogers) and Nina M. Russo; grandson, Colt Joseph Foreman; brothers, Everett VanSickle, Darrel VanSickle; sister, Mary Louise Cartwright; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna (at Beecher Rd.). Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CEMETERY, 11539 Route 40 East, Pataskala, 43062 in the Mausoleum Chapel. Fr. James Klima, officiating. Those who wish, in lieu of flowers, may contribute to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 793 W. State St., Columbus, Oh. 43222 in Wanda's memory.
