RAPP William "Bill" Stanley Rapp, 89, of Columbus, graduated from this earthly dwelling to his heavenly home, Friday, January 6, 2012. Preceded in death by his mother Bess Spargur, father Stanley Rapp, step-father Jack Spargur, and his sister Mary K. Xanders. Survived by wife of 65 years, Marian; sons, Mike (Mary Ann), Steve (Kathy) Rapp; grandchildren, Angela, Michael, Eric and Johnathan; half-sister, Geri Crabtree; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio. Graduate of Columbus Central H.S. Retired from North American Rockwell and General Electric. Bill operated a lawn mower repair business for many years. Longtime member McKendree United Methodist Church. Veteran Army Air Corps, WWII. Member Neoacacia Lodge #595 F.&A.M. and New England Lodge #4 F.&A.M. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012 at McKendree United Methodist Church, 3330 Cleveland Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43224. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085. Masonic Service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Calling one hour prior to service at church on Thursday. Burial Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
