NaVena, so sorry to hear about your dad. We thought and talked about him often but never did make it back over to visit and do regret that. We would have been to the funeral but I just got caught up on the obits on my desk at noon and saw that the funeral was at 11:00. So sorry we missed it. We will be praying for your family in this great loss. Take care of yourselves. The Lako's

I might not know him, but my name is Garry VanGundy. I am so sorry to read about this and pray that everyone is ok. Please except my prayer for him and the family that he had to leave to go to his home in heaven.

I want Bill's family to know how much I really liked Bill. I didn't remember ever meeting him until he started coming to church and sitting in the little "cubbyhole" where Elsie and I always sat. I began to sit next to him and we talked a lot and discovered our birthdays were on the same day. I always sent him a birthday card. One evening at an Emmaus meeting when I ask Navena how he was doing, she said "its YOU who he has been talking about!!!" :o) That made me feel really good. So - my condolences to the family. I really liked that guy! (I cannot visit the funeral home because of a medical test in the morning. Sorry - but can't help it.)
