Albert Ratliff Obituary

Albert Lamar Ratliff (85) passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Bay Springs Masonic Lodge #167, a member of the Memphis Consistory of Scottish Rite and a member of Hamasa Shriners. He loved hunting, fishing, working and talking to others.

Services are 11 am Saturday, November 9, 2024 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Neil Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the East Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday, November 8, 2024 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

Lamar is survived by his wife of 22 years, Carol Ratliff; his grandchildren, Albert Boutwell and Elizabeth Christopher; his step-children, Daryl Hammontree and Denise Hammontree; 7 great grandchildren and a host of nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Alice Ratliff; his first wife, Joyce Ratliff; his daughter, Judy Boutwell and 2 brothers.

His Masonic brothers will serve as his pallbearers.
