Angelia Denise Barr was born to late parents, General B. Lyles and Gwendolyn Brownlee on Aug. 9, 1977. Ms. Angelia D. Barr was involved in Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and also with the Starkville Housing Authority Community Board.
Angelia Denise Barr is survived by her partner, Willis Edwards. Two daughters; DeAndrea Barr and Ailani Barr. Two sisters; Cynthia Stafford (Kenneth) of Enterprise, AL. and Sherry Lyles of West Point, MS. Two sister-in-laws, Sheena Barr and Betty Lyles. Seven brothers; Lapatrick Brownlee of Prairie, MS., William Barr ( Sheena) of Valparaiso, FL, Larry Lyles (Betty) of West Point, MS, Dennis Lyles (Helen) of West Point, MS, Troy Lyles of Columbus, MS, DeKeith Davidson (Carolyn) of Pheba, MS and Barry Reed ( Esther) of Jackson, MS. There is also one grandchild.
The visitation will be Fri., Nov. 28, 2025 from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial. The service will be on Sat., Nov. 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Plain MBC with Rev. Calvin Chandler officiating. The burial will follow at the church cemetery in Sunset Gardens, Prairie, MS 39756.
Williams Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
