Brenda Taylor Fuller, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 1, 2025, at the New Albany Health and Rehab in
New Albany, MS. Born in the same city on August 22, 1949, Brenda lived a full life characterized by kindness, devotion to her family, and a spirit of service to others.
Brenda's heart was deeply rooted in her family. She was a loving mother to her two daughters, Ginger Rainwater and Penny Conlee (Greg), and son Michael Rainwater. Her legacy flourished through her cherished grandchildren - Hunter McQuary (Ryli), Hannah Howell (Cade), Gina Beth Willard (Zach), Gracen Maxey (Chance), Eden Conlee, Carson Conlee, Walker Conlee, Madisyn Rudolph (Goodman), and Camryn Rainwater. Brenda's joy multiplied with the arrival of her great-grandchildren Arden, Rowan, and Chipper McQuary; Jace and Jeter Howell; and Rivers, Rhodes, Ren, and Ripley Ann Willard, alongside Conlee Cate, Wells, and Townes Maxey, and Simmons Rudolph; and her nephew Jim Taylor (Enola).
She now joins in peace her late husband John Fuller, her brother Perry Taylor, her niece Cindy Grant, and her great nephew Kyle Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Marie Roberson Taylor, who instilled in her the values of faith and compassion that she carried throughout her life.
Brenda's career as a social worker at Resthaven Nursing Home was a testament to her caring nature and her Christian faith; she retired with the respect of her colleagues and the gratitude of the many lives she touched. Her career was only one aspect of her life's work, as she was also an active participant in her church and community.
Her interests were a reflection of the joy she found in simple pleasures. Whether it was playing a tune on the piano, whipping up a beloved recipe in the kitchen, discovering treasures while thrifting, or enjoying precious time with her family, Brenda embraced life with enthusiasm. Her dog, PJ, was a constant companion and added to the warmth of her home.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Glenfield Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Jeff Lawrence will officiate. Burial will be at Flat Rock Cemetery. United Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with these arrangements.
