Brent Jackson, 48, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, in his hometown of Tupelo. He was born on September 14, 1977, and was the beloved son of Van and Vicki Jackson. Brent was a Christian who grew up attending Harrisburg Baptist Church, and his faith remained an important part of his life. He was proud to fulfill a longtime dream by returning to Tupelo and opening Just Love Coffee after working his way up through the restaurant industry and learning the business from the ground up. Brent will be remembered as a loyal, caring, funny, and strong-willed son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Family meant everything to him, and he loved nothing more than being together, sharing laughs, and carrying on the inside jokes that made every gathering special. He was an avid sports fan who faithfully followed the Chicago Bears, Atlanta Braves, Memphis Sports, Boston Celtics and Mississippi State which he attended, he also had good memories as a player of the Golden Wave football team. His life was marked by love for family, loyalty to friends, deep hometown pride, and the determination to build the life he envisioned. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 PM Thursday, April 2, 2026, in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo. In addition to his parents, Brent is survived by his uncles, Terry Jackson and Steven Clark; aunt, Nancy and uncle Wayne Reed; cousins, Brian Reed (Lydia), Owen and Miles Reed, Steven Reed (Megan), Nolan Reed, Annistyn Reed and Julian Clark along with loving friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him. He was preceded in death by his brother, Derek Jackson; grandparents, Harold and Betty Jackson and Bill and JoAnn Owen.
