Danny Dowdy Obituary

Danny Raymond Dowdy, 61, passed away Tuesday July 22, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-East in Memphis. He was a 1970 graduate of Ingomar High School and retired owner/operator of J. Reynolds Trading.

Services were July 25, 2014, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include 3-sons-Jay Dowdy (Nicole), Brian Lee Dowdy and Kyle Dowdy (Kim); a loving friend, Jane Reynolds, and her daughter, Amanda Tutor (George); 6-grandchildren, Morgan Dowdy, Elizabeth Dowdy, Chloe Rowland, Ava Dowdy, Tyler Mills and Mackenzie Tutor and a brother, Lanny Dowdy.

Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Pauline Dowdy.
