Hildred Howell Obituary
She was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Golden. She graduated from Fairview High School. She attended Florence State College in Florence, AL. She worked for Dr. George Howell, Dr. Charles Johnson, and Dr. Gary Johnson. She was executive director of TURN (The Urgent Rural Needs) centers in Golden and Tremont, in what is now Access Family Health.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, three sisters, and her spouse. She is survived by her two children S. Janice Howell, attorney, (George Newbury III) and Dr. Michael G. Howell (Ann); seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Senter Funeral Home.
