Jessie Marie Criddle McAllister, age 76, died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo, MS. She was born April 11, 1941 in Monroe County to Jesse Franklin Criddle and Verna Mae Williams Criddle. She was a homemaker and a member of the Amory Church of God of Prophecy. Services will be Monday, December 4, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Doug Lucas officiating. Burial will be at New Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, December 4, 2017 from 12:00 P.M. until service time. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include two daughters Martha Lucas (Doug) of Tupelo, MS and Cindy Cameron (David) of Ormond Beach, FL.; one son Joe "Bubba" McAllister (Paige) of Lackey, MS.; two sisters Josephine Williams of Tupelo, Ms., and Mavis Gilliam of Aberdeen, ; nine grandchildren Jason Lucas, Justin Lucas, Sterling Ray, Jesse Cameron, Chassie Sullivan, Nikki Hanna, Kasey Bowling, Joe "Trey" McAllister III. and Matthew Barnes; and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe M. McAllister, Sr., one daughter Vanessa Thompson and two brothers Elvin Criddle and Melvin Criddle. Pallbearers will be Jon Sullivan, Jimmy Hanna, Richard Corbell, Wayne Corbell, Tony Williams and Mike Pettigrew.
