Jimmy Lamar McCoy, Jr., 51, departed this life quickly and unexpectedly for the happy hunting grounds in the sky on Monday, April 15, 2024. A big man with an even larger heart, Jim respected his family and friends and would give you the shirt off his back. He loved the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter always looking forward to the next deer season. He enjoyed old Southern gospel music as well as being a rock fan. He and his wife, Jennifer, were active members of the Cook Memorial Baptist Church in Pontotoc Co. Jim's greatest joy in life was his family.
