Jody Fortner Obituary
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Springhill Methodist Church with Bro. Donnie Williams officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his mother, Velma Fortner; brother, James Dean Fortner "Red;" sisters, Lois Sue Carson and Lisa Diane Hudson; wife, Shereignn Lynne Fortner Roberts; nephews, Camren Fortner, James Delmar Fortner and William Blount; and nieces, Candy Carson, Holley Carson, Amanda Carson, Tayrea Carson and Cynthia Fortner.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delmar Lamar Fortner "Did;" wife, Carol Anderson Fortner; uncles, J.D. Fortner, Bobby Fortner and Doyle Tidwell; aunt, Mary Fortner Harwell; grandfather, Russell Tidwell; and grandmother, Ruby Tidwell.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Oxford and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
