Kenneth Hatcher Obituary

We are sad to announce the passing of Kenneth Hatcher on March 5, 2024. He was born to Clifford and Mary Lou Hatcher on September 18, 1938.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, HH Hatcher; and his sister, Betty Hatcher Kane. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Hatcher; his children, Gina (David) Haley, Tina (Ken) Boone, and Mark (Romana) Dye; his brother, Rudolph Hatcher; and his 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He owned the NAPA store in downtown Pontotoc and later was employed as Body Manager of Dossett Big Four in Tupelo. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He taught many to water ski at Trace State Park. He faithfully served every church they attended by leading the singing, being an usher and helping with accounting. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Friday, March 8, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Browning Funeral Home followed by funeral services at 3:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka.

Pallbearers are Tyler Boone, Anthony Ballard, Austin Dye, Greyson Dye, Cord Montgomery, and Ryan Boone. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Hatcher, Scott Hatcher, Lee Hatcher, and Ricky Hatcher.

Memorials may be sent to Mount Olive Baptist Church, 515 CR 157, Okolona, MS 38860 and Parkway Baptist Church, 200 5th Avenue, Houston, MS 38851.
