I was saddened to hear of the passing of Ms Lula. She was a wonderful lady. Growing up in the neighborhood, she was someone who helped define what community was about. She never failed to offer her warm and enduring smile. Her giving nature and spirit shone. She was a friend to many, including my mother, who will miss their often daily phone conversations.
To Michael, Vanessa, Portia, and the Grove family, we lift you in unity and prayer.
