Martha Hood Obituary
She is survived by five children, Valerie Thunderburk, Rhonda Rayburn, Jeff Rayburn, all of Tupelo, Tracy Justice of Mooreville, and Craig Justice of Mantachie. Nine grandchildren, Christy Irvin, Tony Willnow, Joshua Rayburn, Andrea Rayburn, Zachary Sithideth, Samantha Spencer, Michael Kyle, Meridan Spear, and Ashley Justice; 12 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Eva Dunn and Francis Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, James Hood, J.R. Hood, Phillip Hood, Harrison Hood, and Jessie Hood; one sister, Virginia Hood Dickey; one grandson, Matt Willnow; and three nieces, Lynn Parker Rushing, Angie Williams Riley, and Jessica Hood Marcy.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Entombment will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
