Maxine Culp Obituary
Services will be Saturday, February 7 at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Tishomingo, with Bro. Dwight South and Jerry Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Tishomingo. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one son, Ralph Culp (Becky); one daughter, Rebecca Reno (William); four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, Owel Grissom (Barbara) and Tom Grissom (Judy); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and precious friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Monroe Culp; a son, Howard Culp; her parents, Ira and Edna Grissom; one brother and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Greg Whitehead, Chris Whitehead, Michael Culp, Brandon English and Albert Culp.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Dear Ralph and both Becky's, Just wanted yall to know I was out of town when Maxine died or I would definitely been there. I loved Maxine, she was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known, and always had a smile on her face when we all know she went through a lot of pain in her life. I have so many good memories. Sharing frozen pepsi, in the bottle no less, after supper on the front porch swing. And, oh the conversations! You shared so much with Becky and me. We weren't afraid to ask you anything. I will always cherish these and you, my sweet aunt.

Deepest sympathy to the Culp family during this time. Maxine was a sweet lady that I remember from growing up in Tishomingo, and attending First Baptist Church. She and Mr. Monroe were always there.
