Graveside services will be at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Old Montpelier Cemetery in Cedar Bluff with Bro. Rusty Miller officiating. Memorial Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Elaine Hurst Thompson of Maben; two sons, Robert Joe Thompson (Brenda) of Houston, John Ellis Thompson (Sandra) of Cumberland; two daughters, Elena Renee Thompson of TN, Heather Ann Thompson of FL; three grandsons, John Colby Burgess, Ryder Kade Thompson and Cody Parker Thompson; one brother, Jerry Lynn Thompson of Maben.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m., at Old Montpelier Cemetery in Cedar Bluff.
