Tommy Gadd Obituary

Tommy Gadd, aged 78, passed away on August 5, 2025, in New Albany, Mississippi. Born on August 21, 1946, he was a graduate of Hickory Flat High School, and continued his education at Northwest Community College.

Tommy served in the U.S. Army in the military police. Following his military service, he joined the Holly Springs Police Department and also served as an ambulance driver for the Holly Springs Funeral Home.

Tommy served as Mississippi State Trooper from 1973 until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of Glenfield Baptist Church and actively participated in the American Legion Post 72.

He is survived by his son, Charles Gadd, and wife Rebecca; daughter, Jamie Green; and grandchildren, Mason Green, Madison Green, Jaxon Gadd, and Harper Gadd. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorene and Wesley Gadd; brothers, Charles, Frank, and Walter Gadd; and sister, Glenda Lacy.

A funeral service honoring Tommy's life was held on August 8, 2025, at Holly Springs Funeral Home. The Mississippi Highway Patrol Honor Guard paid tribute to his years of dedicated service. Pallbearers included Bill Rutledge, Matt Harris, and members of the Mississippi Highway Patrol Honor Guard.
