William H. "Bill" Burcham

1944 - 2024

William H. "Bill" Burcham (80) passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at his home in Tishomingo. He served in ministry for United Pentecostal Church International and was the pastor at Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church for 54 years. He had a deep passion for his ministry, whether it was preaching, singing or just helping others. He also loved to hunt, fish, camp, do auctions and work with his tractor. He thoroughly enjoyed having bonfires and hotdog roasts with his family and spending time with them.

Services are 2 pm Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church with Rev. Larry Sims and Rev. Bobby Goode officiating. Burial will follow in the Gospel Lighthouse Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday at the church and will resume Saturday from 10 am until service time.

Bro. B is survived by his wife of 62 years, Freda Barnes Burcham of Tishomingo; his son, Duane Burcham (Shelley) of Tishomingo; his brothers, Jessie Burcham (Mary C.) of Lucedale and Raymond Burcham (Ann) of Altitude; his grandchildren, Tyler Burcham, Dylan Burcham (Ashley), Hanah Burcham and Marly Burcham and his great grandchildren, Ivy Grace & Caleb Burcham.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie O. & Vivian "Granny" Burcham.

Pallbearers are Duane Burcham, Tyler Burcham, Dylan Burcham, Nathan Hill, June Brimingham, Joel Crane and Tim Wisniewski.

He will have a host of his close friends and men of the church to serve as his honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gospel Lighthouse Building Fund.
