Charles Rowland Obituary
Murfreesboro - Charles E. Rowland, age 82, passed away at his residence January 20, 2019. He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County and attended World Outreach Church. He retired from Middle Tennessee State University Maintenance Department.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, John David and Maude Rowland; brother, Ray Rowland; and sister, Earlene Underwood. He is survived by his son, John (Vergena) Rowland, Charles Eugene Rowland, Jr.; daughter, Helen "Charlene" (David) Rosson; brothers, Houston Rowland, Jerry Rowland; sisters, Judy Rowland, Linda Faye Bucks; grandson, Tommy Ray Rowland; great granddaughter, Jada Harris; and step grandchildren, Emily Diaz and Brian Diaz.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Chapel service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Mark Rosson officiating. Burial will follow in Cothran Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
