Brother Jim was a true man of God, who will be missed by so many families he touched, both from Bellwood Baptist Church and the entire Murfreesboro Community including the once vibrant Bellwood Christian School families. May the Lord, whom Brother Jim loved and dedicated so many years of service to, provide some sort of peace and comfort to all who so dearly loved him, both family, friends, and all who were influenced in such a tremendous way by a true man of God. Prayers for those left to grieve from this loss, yet peace in knowing there is much rejoicing in Heaven, He was a Godly man with such character and integrity, and will be missed by so many. May God Bless his family, during this difficult time. Death can be so hard. We will keep this dear, dear family in our prayers. God Bless each of you.

Dear Edwana and Family,
Brother Jim was dad's best preacher-friend and preached his funeral five years ago. I have happy memories of seeing them together from time to time as I grew up. If we could only see them now, together with the Lord! May the God of all comfort be with you at this time.

Jim was a fine man indeed. I worked with him at Super Service Motor Freight, as a billing clerk years ago. When we would get up from our desks, he would say, "Write, if you find work!" He had a great sense of humor. He was always so kind to me. I saw him once in Murfreesboro years ago. I'll never forget him ... he was a true Christian.
