Keith Glenn Bratcher

Keith Glenn Bratcher, age 53 of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on August 18, 1958 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of Glenn and Laverne Willis Bratcher.

He was an active member in the community, owner of Bratcher Construction for over 25 years, former co-owner of Agency 1 and real estate broker of over 25 years. Keith was a member of the Lincoln Trail Home Builders, past chairman of the Lincoln Trail Registered Builders, former Grayson County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, a Kentucky Colonel, Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center Public District Board, former member of Governor's Board of On Small Business Advocacy, Elder at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and attended the First Baptist of Leitchfield.

Keith was an avid outdoorsman, a loving husband, father, son, friend and a wonderful man.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Grant Bratcher; his son, Ryan Bratcher of Leitchfield; his parents, Glenn and Laverne Bratcher of Leitchfield; his brother, Kevin Bratcher of Leitchfield; his wife's family: parents, LaVerne & Murel Grant of Murfreesboro, TN; brother-in-law, Greg Grant of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters-in-law, Clarissa (Bart) Smith, Beth Fuqua of Murfreesboro, TN and Laura (Jasper) Boner of Lavergne, TN; five nieces and nephews; a large extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Estil and Hazel Bratcher, and Cliff and Lilly Willis, all of Clarkson, KY.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the First Baptist Church Life Center in Leitchfield. Bro. Dave Martin will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, and at the First Baptist Church Life Center from 10 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
