Nick Dudiak Obituary
Major Nick Dudiak, age 78 of Murfreesboro, died January 23, 2013.
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Michael and Theodora Julchitsky Dudiak.
A funeral mass will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Mark Sappenfield officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Friday until service time at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Fredonia Cemetery in Manchester, TN.
Major Dudiak is survived by his wife, Linda Ogles Dudiak; children, Monica (John) Wilson, Franklin, Chris Dudiak, Murfreesboro, Walter (Jamie) Dudiak, Greenbrier, Michael Dudiak, Murfreesboro, Matt Dudiak, Murfreesboro, and Patty (Steve) Brewer, Murfreesboro; siblings, Olga Bleech, Jenny DeCarlo, Stephanie (Jack) Colligan, Ann (Walter) Lucas, Theresa (Chuck) Martin, and John Dudiak; grandchildren, Nicholas and Lara Dudiak, Emma, John, and Megan Wilson, Caroline Lakins, Bailey Dudiak, and Hannah and Maggie Brewer. He was preceded in death by siblings, Walt, Peter, and Joe Dudiak, Mary Kuhar, and Fosha Kearns.
Major Dudiak was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and retired from the U. S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He served in the Korean conflict and Vietnam War and received the Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service during Vietnam.
The family would like to thank the staff of AdamsPlace for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Rose of Lima Catholic School. Family members will serve as Pallbearers.
