Nina Clark Obituary
Murfreesboro - Nina Cantrell Clark, age 79, passed away January 3, 2019 at NHC Place at Cool Springs. She was born in Smithville, TN and has lived in Murfreesboro since 1972. She received her masters degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1967. She taught school in the Nashville School System from 1963-1969. Nina was a member of the Methodist faith. She devoted her life to her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Nina was preceded in death by her parents, Alden and Willadean Estes Cantrell; and brother, Phillip Cantrell. She is survived by her husband, Charles Clark; son, Phil (April) Clark of Brentwood; daughter, Emily(Paul) Joyce of Franklin; sister, Nancy Estes of Nashville; grandchildren, Jack Joyce, Braeden Clark, Lily Joyce, Grant Clark and Willa Claire Clark; and nephew, Houston (Hays) Estes.
Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Monday, January 7, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Chapel service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Jennings and Ayers. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
