Michael "Shane" Shipley, age 39, passed away July 6, 2016. He was a native of Rutherford County and worked twenty two years at Paulo Products.
Shane was preceded in death by his father, Carl Michael Shipley; and paternal grandparents, Carl Eugene and Esther Lee Shipley. He is survived by his mother, Debbie Faye Shipley; fiancé, April Bivens; daughters, Tiffany (Ryan) McCullough of Murfreesboro, Brittany (Justin) Peek of Murfreesboro, Chelsey Shipley of Chapel Hill; brother, Jeffrey Shipley of Bell Buckle; sister, Chasity Shipley of Bell Buckle; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Aiden, Natalie, Landyn and Brooklynn; and maternal grandparents, James and Mary Beshearse.
Chapel service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, July 11, 2016 at Jennings and Ayers with Doug Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Jennings and Ayers.

So sorry to hear about Shane's passing. My brother and I remember him and Chastity from our days at Northfield. May God hold your family and his friends close as time goes on. Know that even though he is no longer with us, he leaves behind his humorous spirit and great memories for us to look back on.
