Tyler - Services for Thomas Eugene Perryman, 90, of Tyler, will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 with a visitation and a celebration of life service at the Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler, Texas with Dr. Bill White officiating and under the direction of the Stewart Family Funeral Home. Tom Perryman passed away peacefully Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Tyler. He was born July 16, 1927 in Dallas, Texas to Margaret and W.C. Perryman. Tom was a member of the Pollard Methodist Church. He graduated from Trinidad High School and Tyler Commercial College. After graduating from High School Tom proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Tom's professional career spanned over 70 very successful years in the radio broadcast and entertainment industry. His happiest days were spent fishing with his wife Billie and family on Rainbo Lake.

Tom was preceded in death by father W.C. Perryman, mother Margaret Morris Perryman Jones, his brother W.C. Perryman II, brother Earl Jr. Jones and his son Thomas King Perryman. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Billie Watson Perryman; sister, Reita Vanderzee, San Antonio, TX; brother, William F Jones, Tullahoma, TN; daughters Vicki Perryman Petty, Murfreesboro, TN and Marilyn Perryman, Santa Fe, NM; grandsons Cole Petty (Becki),Tyler, Texas; Thomas Petty, Murfreesboro, TN; Jed Perryman (Jennifer), Las Vegas, Nevada; grand-daughter, Heather Daley (Ana Wright), Olympia, WA and great grand-son, Douglas Perryman, Las Vegas, NV. and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The Stewart Family Funeral Home is located at 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy., Tyler, Texas. Visitation is on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and a celebration of life service at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be sent in his memory to: The Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, P.O. Box 19930, Dallas, TX 75219-9842, or the charity of your choice.

I spent lots of time at the Perryman's house in the early 60's in Henderson as King was a good friend. I listened to Tom on the radio whenever I was in Tyler or in range and loved his stories. He will be missed.

For ten years Tom Perryman was the bright spot of my day, entertaining me with music, stories and lots of laughter. Thrilled I had the pleasure to me him and Miss Billie in 2015. My deepest condolences to Miss Billie and family.
