BEATRICE GODDARD DODGE CITY Beatrice Mae Goddard, 75 died Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains in Dodge City, Kansas. She was born on March 16, 1950 at Ransom, Kansas the daughter of Colleen Mae and Clifford Romesburg. She worked as a CNA in various nursing homes but most recently for home health care. She was a member of the Boothill Iris Club, Dodge City. She enjoyed baking, cooking, arts and crafts and selling her baked goods at the local farmer's market. She loved all the holidays especially Easter. She is survived by 4 children, Bonnie Rust, Donald Hicks and Shona Simpson all of Dodge City and David Piland and wife Amanda, Highlands Ranch, Colorado; son-in-law, Bob Rust, Denver, Colorado; 6 brothers, Jim Romesburg and wife Marla, Ulysses, Kansas, Rex Romesburg and wife Melinda and Duane Romesburg both of Dodge City, Fred Romesburg and wife Connie, Hutchinson, Kansas, Dawson Romesburg and wife Donna, Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Kirby Romesburg and wife Stephanie, Wichita, Kansas; 3 sisters, Linda Amato, San Antonio, Texas, Tammy Ford, Ashland, Kansas and Gail Cox and significant other, Bruce Trent, Dodge City; 7 grandchildren, Zayne, Zerrick and Zarren Rust, Zayda Pankey, Jeremy and Jesse Simpson and Tristan Steinert; and 3 great grandchildren, Noelani Perez and Silas and Eliana Simpson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Romesburg and Collen Mae Fitzwater, her step-father, Garland Fitzwater, brother, Lyle Romesburg, 2 nephews, Darren Sions and David Romesburg and 2 nieces, Sonya Smith and Jennifer Jones. Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 29, 2025 at noon at the Church of Christ, Dodge City with Rex Romesburg officiating. There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.
