Elizabeth was born on November 8th, 1955, in Oil City, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Valley Heights High School in Blue Rapids, Kansas. She was the youngest of six siblings, including sisters Davida Blake, Marjorie (Margie) Nester, Charlotte Craft, Nancy Zoller, and brother David Morris, with whom she remained close throughout the years. Elizabeth later went on to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse, graduating from Southeast Community College in Beatrice, Nebraska. She loved taking care of others and was known for her incredibly compassionate nature and excellent nursing skills.
Elizabeth's caring nature extended far beyond her career in nursing. She loved her friends and family fiercely and unconditionally and could always be counted on for a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, or a good laugh. Loved ones remember that she was so supportive, nurturing their strengths, reminding them of all of the many good qualities she saw in them, and providing comfort when times were tough. Her love and support never wavered, no matter the situation. She was also known for her fun-loving nature, her great sense of humor, and for giving incredible advice.
Elizabeth married Michael Dean Little early in life, and together they raised three children, daughters Christian and Mariah, and son Jeremy. Although they later split up, she remained close with the Little family throughout her life and is remembered as bringing much love and affection to their family circle.
Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and later a grandmother. She was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren and loved being actively involved in their lives in any way she could. She also enjoyed close relationships with many of her nieces, nephews, and children's friends over the years, becoming like a second mom to many.
Elizabeth married Edward Warren Eversole on July 19, 2014, at Boot Hill Bed and Breakfast in Dodge City, Kansas. They made their home together in Dodge City, where they shared a deep love and genuinely enjoyed life together. She is remembered for telling friends and family that she found her soulmate in Ed, and life with him finally felt complete. Elizabeth and Ed loved sharing their large extended family and took great joy in spending time with them.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie (Richmond) and Robert C. Snodgrass; sisters Davida and Margie, and brother David.
She is survived by her husband Ed of Dodge City; sisters, Charlotte Craft of Bel Aire, KS; Nancy Zollar, Marion, KS; children, Jeremy (Jacque) Little, Kansas City; Mariah (Sam) Hernandez, Marysville, KS; Christian (Richard) Ham, Topeka, KS; Trisha Martinez (Shaun Minor), Dodge City; and Rene (Andy) Crittenden of Garden City, KS; grandchildren, Rylee Adkins, Audri & Amara Little of Kansas City; Maverick, Emelia and Elaina Hernandez, Marysville; Andrew Cain, Marysville; Miranda Cain, Topeka; Gauge Crittenden, Garden City, KS; Elizabeth (Luis) Morales, Manhattan, KS; Isabel Gall of Dodge City; and many other family members and friends who loved her dearly.
