DODGE CITY – Jeff Boles, age 67, died on January 30, 2026, surrounded by his family. Jeff was born May 15, 1958, at St. Anthony Hospital in Dodge City. He was adopted by Dr. Robert Dale and Beth Boles (Hartwick) shortly after his birth.
He attended Dodge City High School and Dodge City Community College and was brought up in the Church of Christ. On May 30, 1981, Jeff married Denise Simon at Ft Dodge. Jeff and Denise raised two children – Amanda and Robert. They divorced in 2006.
Jeff worked various jobs throughout his lifetime, including chef and maintenance man. He was a proud Dodge City Red Demon and an avid fan of the University of Oklahoma Sooners. He was always willing to help those in need and freely gave of his time to anyone he met. He enjoyed reading, fishing, and camping. In his later years, he thoroughly enjoyed attending his grandchildren's activities.
Jeff is survived by his children, Amanda Boles and husband, Kai Scott; Robert Dennis Boles and wife, Carrie; his grandchildren, Robert Dean and Surelii; his sisters, Billye Gayle Boles and Rebecca Gregg and husband, John; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Jeff in death were his parents, Dr. Robert Dale and Beth Boles and brother, Dr. Robert David Boles.
Jeff was much loved by his family and many friends and will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Dodge City on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. A private burial will take place in Oklahoma at a later date. There is no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.
