NATHAN ENGLISH

NATHAN ENGLISH OKLAHOMA CITY - Nathan Earl English, age 80, passed peacefully at Mercy Hospital from kidney failure. Born in Garden City, KS to Nathan H and Edna Zoe (Bindley) English. He married June 1st, 1966 to Rosalynn Milford in Dodge City, KS. He had been an Oklahoma City resident since 2001 moving from Dodge City and Cimarron, KS. Nate was a rancher, cattle buyer and farmer. He farmed and ran cattle with his dad Nathan on the family farm. The farm had been in the English family for 100 years before he moved to Oklahoma. He was a member of Crossings Church in Oklahoma City. He loved to fish and hunt. Nate was most at home at the auctions. You would find him on Mondays at the Oklahoma City Stockyards and at McKinley and Winter Livestock on Wednesdays in Dodge City. He also enjoyed going to the car auctions on Thursdays and Fridays. Nate was preceded in death by his parents Nathan H and Edna Zoe English. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rose English, of Oklahoma City, OK. Daughter, Tina English Salem and husband Todd Salem of Tomball, TX. Son, Todd English and wife Jennifer of Cimarron, KS. He is also survived by six grandchildren. Taryn Salem Lewis and spouse Ty Lewis of Kiefer, Oklahoma; Tristin Salem and fiancée Tad Nackos of Tyler, TX; Tyler Salem of Tyler, TX; Delani English, Alexa English and Asher English of Cimarron, KS. He is also survived by his brother Richard English and wife Jeanine of Sanford, FL. Viewing will be held at the Vondel L. Smith and Son Mortuary and Crematorium in Oklahoma City, OK on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023 from 4pm-8pm. Services will be held at the Vondel L. Smith and Son Mortuary and Crematorium in Oklahoma City, OK on Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at 10:30 am. Celebration of Life will be held at the Nazarene Church in Dodge City, KS on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 at 10:30 am.
