Robert Boyd Perkins, 63, of Ford, Kansas, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri with his family by his side. He was born on March 1, 1962 at
Dodge City, Kansas the son of Ronald and Jewell (Collins) Perkins.
He graduated from Montezuma High School in 1980, and attended Fort Hays State University. Robert loved to live on the edge: rodeos, bull riding, car racing, motorcycles and he cherished time with his family and friends. Robert will always be remembered for his ornery personality, telling it like it is and his teasing and jokes. To honor his memory the family requests that people wear Kansas City Chiefs or Harley Davidson apparel.

Dodge City, Kansas, RaShae Brown and husband Micheal of Wolfforth, Texas, and his son Robert Lee Perkins and wife Kaley of Wright City, Missouri. His children's mother: Sue (Rygol) Webb. His latest wife: Nancy Close, and her daughter: Katrina Sammons and Mandi Barnes. His 16 grandchildren: Jaylen, Kaden, Karley, Rylan, Rossie, Ryley, Rozlyn, Rynsly, Rebel, Zaden, Izaiah, Katie, Maggie, Maddox, Shilo and MaKyla. He is also survived by his brothers Roger Perkins and wife Jolana of Bennington, Kansas, Janae and Ryan, Rick Perkins and wife Mary of Ellsworth, Kansas, John, Roni, and Randa. Great Grandchildren Rosalie, Jada, Jayceon, Malaya, Kamiya, Brynlynn.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Perkins and Brother Randy Lee Perkins.
Funeral service will be held at First United Methodist Church on Saturday November 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Berniece Ludlum and Mr. Scott Tilley presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery-Greencrest in
Dodge City, Kansas. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to Robert Boyd Perkins Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at
